Alibaba vs 1688
Alibaba.com is the export marketplace, in English, with suppliers used to foreign buyers. 1688.com is China's domestic wholesale site, usually cheaper but in Chinese, with sellers who expect delivery inside China. Our team can buy on 1688 for you and collect the goods at our warehouse.
Checking the supplier
- Prefer verified manufacturers with several years on the platform
- Ask for factory photos or a video call
- Order samples before a bulk order
- Agree specifications, packing and labelling in writing
Payment and inspection
Use the platform's trade protection where available, and pay the balance only after an inspection. We can inspect the goods before they leave the factory and share photos and a report.
Shipping to Saudi Arabia
Ask the supplier to deliver to our warehouse in China (or quote FOB). We consolidate several orders, arrange SABER certificates, ship by sea or air, clear customs and deliver to your door.
